The Guardian Council is the protector of the rights of children and adolescents, and supervises vulnerable families, schools, and is always in contact with its partners from the public social assistance network such as CRAS, CREAS and many others;
The Council also works closely to major institutions like Public Ministry and judicial authorities reporting serious cases;
One of the most important roles the Guardian council plays is the supply of data for public politics development and budget planning;
One of their main tasks is visiting families and institutions in place, to verify if the compliance with the law;
Nowadays most part of their journey is made using paper and pen and offline spreadsheets. This represents a laborious, time-consuming and sometimes, insecure work.
Automate service metrics reports and its delivery to the supervisory institutions;
Make the journey of composing reports faster;
Make data management easier and safer - due to the extreme sensitive content;
Have a online platform for registering the many entries in the same case;
Having specific data [who, what, when] associated to each edit into each case - avoiding frauds.
Service Blueprint - to better understand several stakeholders, processes, and reports the Guardian Council need to make.
Mixed method - closed to open
Interviewed: Guardian Counselors
Guardian Council already had a technological solution, but it was a bad experience in many ways, mainly on usability.
There were many repeated or ambiguous categories and important informations apart from the complementary ones.
Our solution proposed a more summarised organisation.
With all the research it was to possible to map the main problems of the ongoing work flow and find opportunities to ease the main pains of the end users.
I delivered the main screens of the project by the time it was paused.
This project is currently paused due to internal issues and because of the coronavirus financial crisis.
